**Vents, Confessions, etc...**
I had blood work done a week ago last thursday. I called last Thursday to ask my doctor about them. According to his admin. they just got them that day. I ask that he call me to go over...Thursday comes and goes and no call. I call back Friday and leave another message..nothing.
This morning I get an email from this service Quest Labs uses. I had signed up to get my results sent to me. So, I get them. There is something he tested for that is coming up positive. I called back and leave ANOTHER message.
I'm thinking that its not as serious as me & google think since he hasn't called back yet...but I NEED that peace of mind. I plan on calling again..but am also tempted to send them to my primary care and see if she can read them
That's the vent...the confession is that I'm scared.

My confession is that last weeks I put Stephanie's hair into a French braid for school. As I was getting her out of her cars eat I saw tat she had gobs of ear wax in her ear. I was horrified and promptly stuck my pinky in her ear to dig it out. I don't know what her right ear produces so much more wax than her left ear. I admittedly don't clean the girls ears after every bath but that night I did and her left ear was barely dirty. But her right had enough to make a candle. I'm so glad that I got the chunks out before her teachers saw her. :::insert embarrassed face:::

My vents are all over the board already so I won't beat the horse. I'm just utterly amazed at how the human mind works. Amazed.

Edit: I do have a confession. Jeremy Piven and I were tweeting back and forth. He asked if I was single. I was flattered and creeped out at the same time because I realized it was in a private message so it seemed more inappropriate than had he said it publicly. How that for the human mind thinking in a skewed manner?
Ari Gold is f'ing awesome. Jeremy Piven is a bit creepy IMO. It's still pretty cool that he hit on you.

My vent - Travis is so tired. he didn't nap yesterday, didn't sleep well last night, only slept for maybe an hour so far and now i am letting him cry himself back to sleep. he's exhausted and i can't figure out why my kid won't sleep!
My confession - I had one of those dreams about one of the coaches from the rink. It was so bizarre b/c he doesn't really work with Corey and I don't know him that well. I swear I blush every time I see him now. Which is often since he works upstairs at the gym where I go.
I want to vomit....utterly disgusting!
I know, I would feel as disgusted if this whole sex abuse debacle hadnt happen. Its just a football coach.

My confession.. I'm in a really weird place right now. Like, elementary school/middle school weird. I feel like I'm being left out of something or talked about because I have red hair or don't have the 'cool jeans', lol. It's just odd and I can't put a finger on it but it's driving me crazy. I am a registered independent even though I tend to vote democratically. With that said, the fact that Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are the top contenders from the Republican party frightens me.
However, I think I detest Chris Christie even more. Because I don't feel like articulating myself better, he is nothing more than a pompous a$$hole. He is immature, irrational, self-absorbed and find the guys on Jersey shore to be very mature in comparison. Quite disturbing!

*Vent* - There was an event involving another department at school on Friday night. There were a bunch of guys (fellow teachers) in my office (which I share with two other people who are in the other department) sharing a pizza while they waited for their performance time (it was a music fundraiser). I was not at this event.
I came in this morning and there was an open box of pizza (yes, there was leftover pizza in it), a used cup that was half full of soda, two bottles of soda all on my desk, and an open box of cookies on my chair.
I was so grossed out. How long would it take you to throw your s#*& in the garbage??? And they all wonder why we have been seeing more roaches than normal lately!
My Vent is that MIL was taking care of Sofia and on her way to her house she got a speeding ticket for doing 40 in a 25mph. She said the baby was crying 'cus she forgot her paci. Now she is going to court to get the 4 points dropped and has to pay for lawyer fee. CRAP!. DH has not said anything but I feel like offering to pay for the ticket since she was babysitting for us that day. She may say no, but still I will at least offer.
