Trying to find a new apartment....ugh!!!
Now that we are married, and in our late 20s/early 30s, we would like to find an apartment/house to rent that suits our needs and that we aren't embarrassed to have friends over. I've been having problems finding apartments that meet our requirements (cat friendly, washer/dryer).
Anyone have any favorite apartment-searching websites or resources? I've tried apartments.com, craigslist.com, and the local newspaper. I know the perfect apartment is out there....just need to find it!

Re: Trying to find a new apartment....ugh!!!
There are Apartment Guides and Renters listings in all the grocery stores and post offices around here that are great. They sometimes have move in specials in those books that are offered and it breaks down all the complexes with a chart to show which allow pets, etc. Have you looked for one of those type of things?
Other than that, there are relocator services in the yellow pages that often work for free to you, and work of commission from wherever you sign. They do the legwork of searching for what fits your needs as well.
apartments.com
well now, she didn't say where she lives. Hobos live better in some places than others, you know!?
Friends and family who live on the west coast can't afford to buy a house with the ridiculous pricing for cracker jack boxes out there, they live on boats and in rickety 40 year old rent houses with no A/C... but I hear the weather is great and your shet don't stink if you live there, so it's all perspective, right?
This is the site we used and it helped us find our apartment. It was nice to have a site like that because we live in a larger city and there are SO many apartments, complexes, etc. to choose from.
This hobo has more square footage than you.
My walls are already painted, I use those Command strip thingies to hang stuff, and I'm allergic to cats. Whatchoo got?! Huh?!
For those who were helpful...thanks!
We used it too, we just saved the ones we were interested in, and saw them all in just a few days. I hate renting though, I feel like I'm burning money.
