Whats a good all inclusive in the Bahamas or near by

I am looking into some vacations, i would like to it be a short plane ride and an all inclusive...also with kids.

Re: Whats a good all inclusive in the Bahamas or near by

  • Well it's not exactly AI but Atlantis with the meal plan. Riu Paradise Island or Breezes which is on Cable Beach all in Nassau. I like Freeport lucaya on Grand Bahamas but I don't think there are nonstop flights from Newark. It's quieter than Nassau   There is a Sheraton and Wyndham. Not AI but again you can get the meal plan.
  • I've heard great things about Beaches in Turks and Caicos.  I'm pretty sure there are direct flights from Newark too!  I was just in the Bahamas at Atlantis in the fall and it was great, but I would not rush back there...it's expensive even if you get the meal plan you'd prob be better off at a place that is truly all inclusive.  What about the DR?  We've also been there and it's a direct flight from Newark.  Just try to find a hotel thats not too far from the airport.  We stayed at the Iberostar and it was wonderful!
  • Beaches at Turks and Caicos, The RIU in Aruba or The Atlantis in the Bahamas are all fabulous!
