DD jumps into the lead for favorite child
DD says to DH "Daddy, can we go down to the basement and watch football?"
DH had to have her repeat it so he was sure he heard right. I think he actually had tears in his eyes.
Of course, until I pointed out that "watching football" for DD meant playing with all the toys in the basement. Still he'll take it.

Mine too! DD kept wanting to play with her kitchen yesterday which is in another room than the TV and all DH wanted to do was watch football.
