How was your day?

We have a Chinese teacher at school, do in honor of the Chinese New Year, everyone was encouraged to wear red. A teacher on our hallway said that a parent of her student sent an email to the school saying we were promoting Communism.

Oh, and we had a 4 year old say 'mother fvcker' 4 times.

It was a great Monday.

    FFS. Really? REALLY?

Parents can ruin everything, and make everything better :(

  • Yowza.

My day was okay considering i"m still in a very somber mood with JoePa's passing.

  • Horrible. My day was horrible.

Rain. M's sucky coworkers. Fought with my dad. Cried myself into a headache. Stress with stupid work.

    Fantastic Monday.

  • Ugh, sorry for the crappy day Liz.

My day was not so hot. Got our Doppler today and I was so excited to try it, I called my mom to tell her about it and being anxious for T to get home so we could try it out, and instead she starts criticizing how I don't need it, and how much was it, and telling me all the stuff I want for baby is unnecessary. So it turned into a huge fight. I mean seriously, what business is it of hers what we spend our money on? I've been self sufficient and on my own since I was 18. I've never asked for money, nor do I need my parents financially supporting me, and like I said they haven't in 10 years. It really bugged me. Then T came home and we couldn't find the HB with the Doppler. I know it's still early, so I'm trying not to worry, but it would have been so nice to hear it and get some reassurance that everything is still okay.

Now I have a huge migraine, I feel like puking, and I finally broke down and took some Tylenol.

  • First of all, seriously? Promoting communism? Good grief.

Second, I don't think I'd br able to keep a straight face if I heard a 4 year old say MF

Britt - sorry you had such a crappy day

Yvonne - I think even at my 12 week appt the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat on the Doppler, so don't worry :)

  • Sounds like crappy days all around!

A is cutting 4 teeth, and while he teeths like a champ (super easy) it gives him sores when he poops and he almost always gets an infection on his butt that needs antibiotics. Yay for hyper sensitive skin

B just started treatment for reflux today. Her pedi thinks she has GERD and we are looking at a barium series if she doesn't get better or gain a decent amount of weight in 2 weeks. She's just hit 8 lb 8.5 oz... She was 9 lb 3 o. At birth

S got a flat tire today...and was gone from 4:30 his morning until 5:45 tonight. Kind of a long day with a sad little girl.

  • Lol... the communism comment made me laugh out loud... wow...

Um.... my day was ok. I feel really run down, you know like how you feel just before getting a cold, super tired and chilled. I HATE the rain and it's raining but I know I shouldn't complain because it so rarely does rain here.

I really didn't have a bad day though so it's all good. :) Then again, it's not over yet, hehe.

  • By the time Matt got home, Miss Maggie and I weren't speaking. Well, obv i wasn't ignoring her, but she was testing my nerves. I went in after her nap to have her sit there and wave at me saying hi with a handful of poop. Then while she was in the bath I went to get a towel, she came running after me dripping wet and slipped. She was whiney and not behaving all that well.

The stress of my dad being sick is constantly weighing on me. Blah. I need a vacation.

...to Indy. Let's make this happen!

My day sucked. I had a doctor's appointment which went okay but it still nerve wracking because I want SO BAD to go in there for something good. (Granted today was just an annual exam but still.) And I ended up crying when I was talking to my doctor because I act like a read hardasss about it but really I'm a hot mess about this whole baby making thing. It's killing me.

A girl at work told me today that her biiitch sister-in-law had an ultrasound last week and found out she was having a healthy baby girl. The SIL is mad because she wants a boy. She's MAD about this. I say she can suck it. Some people would do anything to have a healthy baby-myself included. She should count her blessings.

I didn't get home until after 5:30 today. I ended up having to close..which I wouldn't mind but I'm starting to really have a dire case of word vomit soon regarding some things that have went on at work. (Not having to do with me.) I think it's crap that it's ASSUMED by my co-workers that I would close tonight. Like I didn't have anything to do.

That being said-I'm fighting to stay awake because I didn't get Jon's laundry done this weekend because we were gone all day Sunday. How this guy gets two loads of laundry every week I'll never understand. He's sitting next to me on the couch about to pass out. I have this weird thing where I can't leave laundry not done over night. It bugs me.

    I'm biitchy today. Sorry!

Yeah, it was pretty difficult.  And we can't really do anything about it except remove him from the other kids because he's got major issues and obviously has no clue what he's saying.  But we did get a good laugh out of it after they went home.
