Vibes, please (updated again)
I had an appointment with my high-risk doctor today, and they discovered that my cervix has shrunk considerably. I am currently at 1.6 cm (they want you to be at 3), and have been put on bed rest. There is a very real possibility that I will go into pre-term labor. All I can do is rest, hope, and pray that it doesn't get worse. F and I are absolutely terrified and would appreciate any of those magic nestie vibes you can give. Thanks so much.
Update: Thank you all for your kind words and vibes! It means so much to us. I'm heading into the doctor's now to do a nonstress test and to make sure that my braxton hicks contractions are just that and not actual contractions. I'll keep you posted. Thank you again!
Update #2: The NST went well--babies are fine and I'm not in preterm labor. The doctor sent me home for more bed rest and said we'll reevaluate next Monday (after my cervix gets measured again.) Thanks again for the positive vibes

I'm so sorry. That is scary. I hope that you just need the bedrest and those babies keep cooking for a king time.

I know someone who is due about a week before I am and she has been on bed rest for 2 weeks now in the hospital because she has a shortened cervix. They want to get her to 30 weeks...
I just can't imagine how hard bed rest is. Makes it seem like everything I'm dealing with is just minor!!! once again.. lots of vibes coming your way!
