Three kids, one dog, no husband=chaos like ya wouldn't believe

This is the first week DH has traveled in at least 3-4 months.  And I managed to catch a nasty cold last week that progressed into an awesomely painful cough today.  And I've got a baby who has always slept really well... Until today when he just won't sleep.  Oh and it's my week to bring snack for 23 kids every day to school.  So far I was late dropping Lucy off, late picking her up, a half jar of peanut butter and a half bottle of honey and a container of Parmesan cheese have been smeared on the counter, and I haven't done anything remotely productive.  Friday can't come soon enough.  I'll be the lady rocking back and forth in the padded room this weekend.  Oh yeah did I mention my parents and my closest grandma are in Costa Rica this weekend too?

It's SO hard when they are out of town. I know how you feel, DH traveled the week after I went back to work. G fell out of bed one night and Hudson went though his 3 month growth spurt. I was a wreck. As long as everyone eats on a semi regular basis and wears clothes every day I consider it a success. Even if the clothes don't match and the food is minimally nutritious.
