What are you guys up to today?
It's 50 degrees here already. It snowed 7 inches 2 days ago. My brain is all kinds of confused, but I am loving it!
Re: Happy Tuesday!
Our weather is bonkers too. It's ridiculous! We've had days in the 30's and two days later, it's almost 70! Not good for the ol' sinuses!
Long day of work ahead. Fortunately we have some things that may come up today that will help pass the time. *crossing my fingers*
AVOCADO BABY!!!!!!!!!!
Umm..sorry, anyway...nothing too exciting here. Hopefully will get some work off my desk today and then will be racing home to see the final word on if Baby S will by Bryson or Riley...lol
Last night I was in a bit of a grumpy mood, but my husband is the best and did everything he could to make me feel better. I'm looking forward to getting home this afternoon and surprising him with something (not sure what, yet) as a thank you!
Happy Tuesday! The weather has been strange. And it is playing havoc with my sinuses. I developed a headache last night, and woke up with it this morning. I hate those. I'm just hoping my Excedrin Migraine holds up throughout the day.
Today at work is another day spent in the special place with no internet access. Sigh. Then it's home to start cleaning. Yeah, we've been meaning to do that, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Only 29 more days left till we move!
Nice warm weather all around! I hate what it does to my sinuses as well, but I'll take random warm weather days + bad sinuses instead of all-cold-weather throughout Jan-March.
Kim - I love when my H takes care of stuff when I'm grumpy! Thats so nice of him. Remember - men are thankful for small things like favorite meals and sexual favors, so you probably don't have to think to hard, LOL.

Not much going on here, I'm trying to plan what I'm making H for V-day. I'm going to paint a vinyl record with lyrics, I just need to find some suitable lyrics. I couldn't find a single sentimental line in the song I walked down the aisle to, so I guess I have to keep searching!
My leg is killing me from the pregnancy fitness DVD that I did yesterday, so I don't feel like doing much of anything.
When you say stuff like this, it cracks me up. I always think of you a quiet, reserved, super sweetie and it always surprises me. I don't know why it does after knowing you for a year, but still does.
Morning! I'm not so sure about today. Normally I would be going to work at 1 and then class at 6, but I'm having car troubles (again!) so my dad is stopping by here on his way home from work to check things out. I had to call off work but I'll still be able to take DH's car to class tonight.
I also discovered this morning that our internet router mysteriously stopped working, and I can't really figure out what the problem is. Thank goodness I can use the wireless tether on my phone or today would really be super boring!
Hola everyone.
Today is the 100th day of school! (that means only 80 left?but who's counting??). The kids are all pumped today, and it should be pretty fun because we just do a lot of math activities around the number 100.
Unfortunately, I'm sick. I actually stood at the bathroom counter for a good 5 minutes this morning going back and forth on whether or not to call in. Our online teacher absence system cuts off at 7am, so if you don't report being sick prior to that, I have to have my boss manually enter me in the system to over-ride it. I always feel that if I miss that 7am deadline, I have to go in.
And of course, today is an orchestra night where I don't get home until 10. I've already missed a rehearsal so I feel like I shouldn't miss another one. Although, I realized this weekend, that our next concert is on SUPERBOWL Sunday!!!! I think our conductor is crazy! I can't believe he did that. Now I'm not even wanting to play this concert-but I already made the commitment and feel like I can't back out now. UGH.

Good morning ladies! Not too much going on here. I have been trying to spend as much time with hubby because he leaves for Israel on Friday. He will be gone for a week. I'm not looking forward to him going, but at least he is going with a big group from work.
Andi, I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to find out what baby Stoker will be!

It's been crazy weather here in Ohio too! I woke up yesterday to thunder...in January! It was 58 and then really strong winds blew in and now it's down to 37 today.
I came down stairs this morning to fire up the computer and get ready to work from home and found that our modem is down. ugh! for us that means no internet or TV. I am currently stealing the neighbor's internet. I feel bad, but it's only for a day!
I am pretty reserved, but I have my moments, hehe

I'm very excited to find out whether Baby S is a boy or a girl!!! It's also my DH's birthday today, so I'm making Cookies-and-Cream Cheesecake for him. He's so excited about it being his birthday- it's like he's a little kid again. I love it!

Hi girls! I've been super busy the past couple of days, but I'm hoping things start to quiet down a little soon. I had to take my car into the repair shop today for an estimate (after getting rear-ended last week), so I got to work late and I've been playing catch-up.
H and I just ran errands and relaxed last night, which was beyond great. I've really been enjoying the quiet nights at home lately. We went to a concert on Sunday night, which was fun but not at all relaxing.
Our weather has been pretty consistent over the past week or so, hovering around the mid-upper 70s. It's only rained a little bit, and for that I'm thankful. People drive like idiots in the rain here.
I can't wait to hear the sex of Baby Stoker! We'll all be waiting with baited breath.

Maggie-- 100 days already? I'm jealous! We're officially halfway done because we start marking period 3 today.
Today I am going to have a pretty normal day. Our schedule switched though. I used to teach 3 classes, have a break for lunch, teach 2 classes and then have planning. Now I have all 5 classes, lunch, planning. It is good in the long run, but my stomach isn't thinking so today! We go from eating lunch at 10:30 to 12:30

Oh wow! That is quite a quick adjustment. Is there anyway you can bring in a little snack to hold you over? Maybe some peanuts or something?
Yep. We started August 20th though and don't really get any days off except for the usual holidays. (The last district I worked in had so many random days off, up until Spring break, we never went more than 4 weeks without one-oh do I miss the day of MEA in MN). This year, our last day of school for students is May 24, and for staff-the 25th.
And wow, that is a big time difference for lunch. On late start days, my lunch gets pushed back to 1 instead of 12, and that's hard enough.

We made the rule that you could have a healthy snack at the beginning of period 4. I had an apple and it was not as red delicious as expected! :-( But I'm in my last class now and then I'll have lunch

Oh my gosh, your poor belly! That's a huge change!
Good morning from the west coast! Nothing too exciting for me today. Our office is still cold, no word from the office manager on when the furnace will be up and running. The plus side is that it isn't raining and has warmed up outside a little, should be in the high 70s tomorrow!
Maggie-I used to love the WEA weekend in Wisconsin
Working on a public campus I still get plenty of holidays so no complaints but it was always nice to have a break for the conference.

I apologize in advance, this is kind of gross.
I woke up this morning and thought that our dog had peed in the bed. Nope, he puked all over the bed. I have no idea how neither H or I heard him. I feel pretty bad that Jack was sick all night and nobody noticed
. Now I have to bath the dog and wash all of our sheets and everything. Poor little buddy.
Other than that I have some work to do and I think I have to work on the house a bit today and I want to try and pretty up my blog a little bit.
The funny thing, is that I don't know ANY teacher who has ever gone to the MEA conferences. Every teacher I know, uses it as a 5 day weekend.

I went one year, but yeah, other than that it was a 4 day weekend for me.

Good Afternoon!
This morning work has been crazy busy and I have meetings most of the afternoon so I am trying to catch up on all the posts at lunch.
Tonight H and I are going to work out together then I am grilling some chicken for dinner which makes for an easy clean up.
Yesterday I applied for a job in H's hometown on a whim. We have been talking about moving up there (its 45 minutes away) but decided only 1 of us should commute to the city (where we live now and my family is). So ill have to find a new job before we move. Its a long story I should post sometime but for now wish me luck on the job search!
Yay! I can't wait to find out if Baby Stoker is a boy or a girl! I'm leaning towards girl but maybe that's just because Danielle had a boy and I like things to be even. lol
I'm on a break from class. It's so nice that I live close enough now that I can go home to eat and let Morgan in for a while. I went from almost an hour drive to 10 minutes and it's fantastic! Then I get to come home and clean because obviously the boys don't know how.
I'm waiting on a call from the lady at the dog rescue because she says she thinks she found a good match for us. A 10 month old black lab, male. So we'll see how that goes. Other than that, I started school yesterday which is always lame. Can't wait for it to be over with!

I just want to be the only girl, you love all your life.

so. stinkin'. busy!
i miss my knotters!
DH and I have plans to hang out tonight. We are going to cook dinner (veggie enchiladas) and watch a movie. I'm hoping he will FINALLY watch Crazy Stupid Love with me. Then we are going to bed early so we can get up and work out in the morning.
I'm so jealous of all of the teachers that are halfway through the school year. I wish my work year was halfway over! My coworkers kids have half-days for the rest of the week and are off monday and friday for the end of the marking period so I'm going to be extra busy all week because a few of them are taking off!
I just got out of bed about an hour ago. I have been sleeping way too much the past couple days. Starting to worry that it's my depression or anxiety acting up again in it's early stages or that my body is attempting to fight something off.
Other than that, I'm at home today so I think I'm going to make icebox cake and I should probably clean the apartment up some.
Can't wait to find out Baby Stoker's gender!
Love is friendship on fire!

I'm a little late to this post today. Nothing exciting here at work. I've been stuck in the filing room all day, but I am determined to get everything filed and organized today instead of dragging it out longer.
Stoked and I at PF Changs last night after our LLS meeting and I want to go back, haha. I already ate my leftovers for lunch.
Pretty boring week over here in my neck of the woods. So excited to hear about baby Stoked!
