I'm psyched that Melissa McCarthy got a nom for Bridesmaids.

But I'm bummed that Alan Rickman didn't get one for his Severus Snape - he was awesome in that last movie.

moneyball was seriously great.   i don't know if jonah hill was oscar material but he was really good (not that it matters since CP's getting it anyway).

i am glad to hear you liked it. i read it didn't do well. its in our queue and i am excited. both ken and i have read hte book so i am intrigued.

I thought Moneyball was boring LOL. I havent seen many of them this year. I always feel like a loser when this list comes out and I realize how little we have seen.

I'm Just excited the Academy has finally recognized Gary Oldman. I adore that man! Not likely he'll win but he should for jyat about any film he has been in.

I'm not a George Clooney fan so I wasn't thrilled to go see 'The Descendants,' but it was the only movie playing that I had a somewhat interest in. It was so good. Like really, really good.
