Northern Lights

Somewhere in Sweden is a camera capturing it. It updates every 5 min. Wish I could be there in person to view it.

  • Awesome!

This is on my bucket list of things I hope to see/do someday.

  • That is amazing... someday, I WILL see those lights *shakes fist*
  • So beautiful! Would love to see this in person one day, too.
  • They are BEAUTIFUL. Growing up in Alaska, I saw them pretty often. I feel like an a$$hat now, since the last time they came through my attitude was kinda like "eff this, I have work in the morning." and now that I don't see them I miss them something awful.

In college we could see them from time to time and this was always my attitude as well. It's -18 degrees out and you want me to go stare at the sky?! How about no?! Of course now I regret it.

We can occasionally see them here in Ohio but they are rare enough that we're willing to stay up late and go out to watch them.

  • Apparently we're in the 5-6 zone for seeing them and were able to this week.. lucky us!

I had no idea!  My MIL sent me a text earlier saying they may be visible from here tonight too, but it's cloudy.  Dang it.

All the meteorologists are talking about it tonight, but it's cloudy here as well. Poopy.
