Post your recent Trader Joe raves!
I am in LOVE with the organic creamy tomato soup. Delish!!!!!!!
The dark chocolate covered powerberries are very yummy. A handful is a great after dinner snack. The kids like them, too.
I bought the garlic and herb pizza dough, and I wasn't 100% sold, but I really need to improve my dough rolling skills (and I need a pizza stone).
Trader Joe garlic hummus. YUM!!!
I bought the mini tacos, but haven't tried them yet. I've heard some great things.
Re: Post your recent Trader Joe raves!
I've only tried some of the new snacks I got from there last night but I loved the freeze dried mango (something very addicting about it!) and their plantain chips.
DH really liked the individual slices of frozen chocolate covered bananas and we always love the chocolate croissants!
Became a Mrs. on 4/29/06 and a Mommy on 12/5/08
The fire roasted corn. I added it to my chilli and I swear it is the best chilli I ever had. Maybe it was just a coincidence. Their dark chocolate covered pretzels are a fave of mine as well.
I tried the whole wheat pizza dough and wasn't a big fan either.
I love the fire roasted corn too. I add it to my chicken tacos.
We also love the plantains. My kids are obsessed with them.
Weve had the mini tacos. I thought they were just ok.
My current shopping list includes:
Teeny Tiny Potatoes - boil and add salt, pepper and butter..yum!
Cheese Sticks
Everything Crackers
Thai Shrimp Gyoza
Frozen Organic Broccoli
Fresh Brussel Sprouts
Veggie Fried Rice
Veggie Birds Nest
Mandarin Chicken
Fruit Leathers
Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato Soup
Whole Wheat Pretzel Sticks

- - I've also tried their pizza dough..not a fan.
Mangia! My Family Table
Am I the only one on the planet that has never been to a Trader Joes?
The list of foods sound delish though!
I loved their take home and bake mini ciambatta rolls, the pulled BBQ chicken (i put that on the rolls)
They had 9 mini cupcakes that were fabulous
Chewy Oatmeal Cookies are a family favorite
I put the artichoke pesto and roasted red pepper/eggplant spread on my turkey sandwiches
I didnt like their pizza dough either. Best dough besides making it yourself is to just buy it from your local pizza place the day you are going to use it I think it gets weird when its in the bag and it never rises right and I find it hard. I always just buy it for $2.00 at my local place and its always awesome--but I do have a pizza stone and I throw it, not roll it.
almond windmill cookies
Texas style BBQ sauce
Organic vodka sauce (verryyyy good when I don't feel like making my own)
I don't know what it's called but its a frozen veggie mix of cauliflower and this green veg that kind of resembles broccoli but isn't- VERY good
chewy chocolate chip cookies
organic corn chips
BBQ pop type chips
choc covered pretzels
G is obsessed with the gummy bears & raisin bread
the middle eastern pre pack meal - yummy falafel
organic romaine
organic roma tomatoes
organic english cucumber
TJs balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Honey wheat pretzels
3 layer hummus
pita crackers
goat cheese with the raisin crackers (forgot the actual name)
wild berry applesauce- my daughter loves it! calls it berry sauce
frozen/shelled edamame
Bella loves the mini chicken tacos...we always have them in the freezer.
quick cook steel cut oats
cuban black beans
frozen grilled marinated eggplant and zucchini
schoolhouse cookies
and much much more here - http://iwasborntocook.blogspot.com/p/just-cant-get-enough.html

I only have 3 words for you...chocolate lava cakes
I'm drooling just thinking about them. 2 in a box for about $3. DH and I never get dessert out- we just come home and throw them in the toaster oven for a few minutes and we're in chocolate heaven. Delish!
My current favorite snack is the Fruit Strip Bits and Pieces.
Also, regarding pizza dough, I make pizza using TJ's pre-cooked rustic ciabatta flatbread and it's really delicious. It is in the regular bread section.
TJ Pirate Booty (not called that but looks like it) - twice the size as regular PB but half the price
Bacon wrapped scallops (frozen)
flavored chicken sausages
frozen haricot vert (french green beans)
frozen meatballs (awesome quick dinner for our son in a pinch)
almond butter
unsulphured dried pineapple slices
frozen mac-n-cheese (joe's diner)
-sliced turkey breast (in the refridgerated meal section)- thanksgiving-like turkey, not deli meat
- turkey meatloaf muffins (topped w spinach and parmesan mashed)- I keep these on hand for DS for nights when we eat late or just fend for ourselves. He loves them and they only take 2 mins in the microwave.
-Ham & cheese croissants in the frozen section
- Frozen chicken tenders
- apple/carrot 'sauce' pouches for DS
- parmesan/asiago/cheese blend in a tub
- sliced fresh mozzerella
- organic sliced apples
- truffle brownie mix- SO good
- schoolhouse letter cookies for DS
