What do you think of his decision to not attend the state of the union because he doesn't support the President's policies?  Is anyone actually under the impression that other republicans are there because they support the President's agenda?  This seems like such a classless move to me.

I agree that its ridiculous for him to "protest" in this way...he needs to grow up.  We all attend meetings/etc and are subjected to listen to speakers that we don't necessarily agree with...that's part of life & part of his JOB!

I think it is very disrespectful. I think as a country we all hold different fews whether you are democrat, republican, green, red or blue. We all have to compromise and work together in this country even if we aren't in congress. So whether you like the idea of being comingled among democrats.republicans or not I think you should be there - it's your job to listen and even if you don't agree with what the President does or says you should be there to show your constituents that you are listening and you know what is going on in DC and doing the job the people elected him to do which is show their point of views.
