  • This is going to sound crazy, but I'm not sure I've ever had them before.  And I love most vegetables.

  • Green Giant makes them in a steamer thing with buttah sauce.

  • I think I might have tried them as a kid, but have successfully avoided them ever since. YUCK.

  • I love them with salt and pepper and alittle garlic powder rolled in butter and baked. Amazing!
  • They are one of those vegetables (like asparagus) that smell like farts but taste like heaven.

I don't think so. I've never noticed it anyway.

  • LOVE them!  If you ever try fresh brussel sprouts, drizzle them with a little EVOO and roast them in the oven/broiler.  Then saute some bacon and chopped yellow onion.  Mix that with the brussel spouts and walla!

  • Mmm, I love brussel sprouts! I loved them as a kid too, which was probably a little strange!
  • I've had them 4 times since being with Jason and hated every time he has made them. However, I recently made them because I know he likes them and I actually enjoyed them. I think because I didn't overcook them the way he did.

I will be roasting them next. Roasted vegetables are delicious!

Hmm, I have never tried fresh, but that sounds good and healthy.  I will have to keep this in mind.   I have only bought the Green Giant frozen steamer bags already mentioned.

Funny you say that, Jenny, because I only like them when they are nearly completely soft.  To most that would be overcooked, I think, but I didn't really like them when they are hard or still crunchy in any way.   Also, I cover mine completely with cheese.   Completely defeats the purpose of eating a healthy vegetable, but melted cheese on brussel sprouts just goes together so well that it isn't the same without cheese.

  • I hated them as a kid, but when I had them as a kid, they were generally overcooked and plain. Since then, I've had them a few times, prepared much better. I thought they were OK, but they're still one of the few vegetables I don't like much.
  • I have loved thiem since childhood! I also like

    lima beans

    asparagus

    artichoke

    broccoli

    cauliflower

    carrots

    squash

I love a ton of veggies just not the ones that every one else likes like

mushrooms onion peppers <-------------- yuck city!

  • I recently tried them since they came with something I ordered for dinner. I thought they were alright but probably not something I'd buy to cook for myself.
