Fort Lauderdal

I am a NJ Nestie, I am going to be coming down to Fort Lauderdal for a week with my husband and 22 month old daughter in March.  We will be renting a car, but staying at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale.  What are some day activities we can do with my daughter.  We can drive places, but wasn't sure what there was to do.  We are going to just relax around the hotel, beach, pool some days, but also want to have some activities on hand.  Also, what is the weather normally in March - if it matters we are coming in the beginning 3/7-3/13.

Thanks!

Re: Fort Lauderdal

  • Hi!

I'm assuming the weather is hot. Its always hot. Right now it is in the 70s. I'm not sure how about acitivites for little ones since i dont have any kids. However we do have a wide variety of nice parks here that might be good for little ones. The big ones that i know of are TY Park, Trade Winds and Butterfly World, CB Smith Park.

Also in Fort Lauderdale i like to do the boat ride through the canals and see the big and historic houses.
