T&P for Julia, please (UPDATED)

We took Julia to the pedi on Monday for what we think might be seizures. I have noticed kind of weird jerky arm movements over the past couple of weeks, but I thought it was just her normal movement, playing, etc. However, I got more and more concerned over the past few days, so we videoed her doing it a few times and took her in. The doctor was definitely concerned, so she sent her for an EEG yesterday and we are going to see a pediatric neurologist in a couple weeks (unless there is something really bad with the EEG results, in which case it will be moved up ASAP). If the EEG is all clear then there is more testing to do to figure out why she is doing this. If the EEG is abnormal then we'll go forward with figuring out treatment.

This is really, really scary. MIL had epilepsy as a child (only for a couple years, then grew out of it). I know it can be totally manageable and fine, but it can also be really not good. I'd appreciate any T&P. Thanks.

UPDATE: The pedi just called and the results of the EEG were all normal. This rules out epilepsy, but something is still up, obviously. Our appointment with the neurologist is next Friday, so we'll discuss other possibilities then.
