What company for home security?
In our townhouse, ADT was already installed and there was no monthly fee, but I know it is expensive to install a whole-house system. We'd be installing a system in the new house and I'd want doors, bottom windows, and hopefully smoke and CO2 monitored too.

We did ADT and if you look around you can find a lot of deals for it. We've been really happy with everything so far. They are great to come out when we had any issue. We had a false alarm due to construction dust and they came out and instead of cleaning it they just replaced the whole fixture. We have CO2 and Fire. Motion sensor on the 1st floor and the necessary windows.
I also love that I can turn it on/off remotely. My mom had to drop something off for me and needed to get in the house and I could shut it off for her. Or if you have a cleaning lady who has a key you can still alarm it and not share the code.
