Coming Out of Lurking...

Hello Ladies...I lurk here all the time so I am going to try to start posting. My name is Sarah.  I am a knitter mostly, I dabble in other crafts too.  I just got a sewing machine for Christmas so I am hoping to start sewing soon as well.

Here is a PIP of my most recent project, an idea inspired by Pinterest:

  • Neat! Did you use etching armor?

  • No, you just put rubber bands on and then spray with Frosted Glass Spray, which is like $5.  What is etching armor?

Much easier! It's stuff that etches glass. I've never used it, but it always interests me!

  • Interesting, I have never tried that.  This stuff worked pretty well, but I put it on a little too thick so some of the edges stuck to the rubber bands.  Plus, you can remove it with acetone if you want a do-over so I like that aspect of it too.
  • Very pretty- welcome! I love knitting and sewing- both are great hobbies! :)
  • That project turned out great!

Welcome to the board!  Looking forward to seeing more of your crafts.  The only "rule" around here is to PIP often :)
