I'm thankful for a heartbeat of 156 at my ultrasound today! :) The OB said everything looks good and she doesn't even think I'll have to be considered high risk! YIPEE!

That makes me so happy I could almost cry. Two of my favorite people, pregnant so close together! And I'm not! Celebration!

I have to admit, I got teary when my OB turned the sound on so I could hear the heartbeat, because I couldn't see it on the screen this time. And I just loved seeing her get so excited when she heard it. She's been my OB/GYN since I got pregnant with B, she was there when I had B 8 weeks early, she was the doc I saw the entire time I was pregnant last year, she even cried when she had to tell us that we lost the baby on the day of my dad's funeral. I just cannot say enough about this woman. She is the sole reason I am not going to Fort Collins to have this baby. She is seriously amazing.

Yay Styme!! (And would you mind PMing with your OBs name? A friend back home is having trouble finding good prenatal care in town but can't afford the drive to FoCo.)

I'm grateful for a sitter who not only took S for my dentist appointment but told me to take a couple of hours to myself afterwards. I didn't do much, but it's amazing how much of a difference 2 kid-free/obligation-free hours can make!!
