if you had baby(ies) in nicu
friend's babies were born premature - email said it's thought they will be in nicu for 7 days if there are no issues.
i planned to make them some food when the twins were born since i know helpful it was to have that with just 1 newborn.
would you wait until they're home, or is it just as helpful to have it earlier? if it makes a difference, mom had a c-section - no clue when she'll be home, or where the older ones are (home with sitter or at grandparents').
Re: if you had baby(ies) in nicu
she will probably be home before the babies so it might be nice to drop it off then, since she will be running from home to the NICU and it would be nice to not have to worry about what to eat at such a busy time :-)
very nice of you
i am nothing if not a good friend to the people i like - lol!
i promised her food - homemade if my family is getting homemade, picked up if that's what we're getting too. it's so easy to double either way
I agree with this. I was home before my twins and with a c section, having food already made would have been helpful.
I agree with previous posters. How sweet of you. It would have been nice to not have to think about what we'd eat when going back and forth to the hospital to spend time with our newborn.
I agree with this 100%. Everything will be crazy between going back and forth to the NICU that they may not even want to heat up some food at home. I am sure they will appreciate it a lot more once they are home with two babies and can't even begin to think about what to have for dinner.
I also agree with this. It's so hard running back and forth. I know I just wanted to grab something quick.
We were the same way - just grab it and get to the NICU as soon as DH got home. Once she came home, the reality of life hit, so it is nice to not have to worry about eating. Can't imagine life with TWO preemies.
