Need gift ideas
The wife of one of dh's old friends is turning 40 and they are having a party for her. We get together every so often, but while I know the wife I am just at a loss as to what to get her. I don't feel like I know her well enough to know what she would like. I want to get something nice for her as they have always been good friends and I've known them for 12 years. Any suggestions?

When I turned 30 most people brought a bottle of wine, even though we said no gifts. Some people also brought flowers.
However, I love wine and flowers.
