30th Birthday - Help
I'm helping a friend's husband plan her 30th Birthday Party. He is hoping to do something a little out of the norm - he was thinking Bowling but another friend is doing that already. Any ideas? I'm usually on the ball on things like this, but am drawing a complete blank! Thanks Ladies!

Ice Skating? Roller Skating? Putt-Putt (depending on the weather)?
I've never been to this place but All Play downtown by the river sounds like it's a lot of fun for people who like to play games like that.
Depending on how many people there are you could do a regression night - pick a year or decade and all of the music and clothes have to be from that time. Maybe some board games or movies, too?
Or a foreign theme - everything is Italian or German or British or Spanish (or Mexican, if you prefer). Everyone can try to talk with the accent from that country and have food and beverages that are authentic to the culture.
