Sewing machine repair recs
My machine needs to be serviced. My feed dogs are not working properly, and I end up with a huge knot in the bobbin compartment. It's a Brother if that makes any difference.
Re: Sewing machine repair recs
Sewing Machine Warehouse off of 249 just north of 1960 (Sits next to the Movie Tavern). Best place to get machines serviced.
and for lessons too!
ditto sweet thang. I took my ancient machine there. I was actually asking if I should just get a new machine or get it serviced. But when I told them my budget for a new one was $250, they said I should keep my old one because it's still better than anything I could buy for that...
I took that as a sign of their honesty since they could have made more money off of me. But... sigh... I long for an automatic buttonholer. My 1961 Singer doesn't do them by itself and I don't know how. Maybe I should go see about those lessons.
