Tomorrow is N's birthday. He had his party last weekend with the boys from his class included. His school class just happens to be going on a field trip to Chuck-E-Cheese tomorrow and his teacher said they'd incorporate it with his b-day. Since the kids are all getting a pseudo b-day party at Chuck's already and half of them were just at his real party last Saturday, would it be horrible of me to not send any treats of any kind? Ordinarily I would but it just seems like there's already enough going on for the kids.
WWND?

Growing Up Olson
I was thinking this too. I guess I just feel a little bit guilty for piggyback my child's day on the efforts of the school. Maybe, instead, I should just be very happy it all worked out this way since it takes the pressure off here.
You're a single mom with a career, correct?
Maaaaaybe if you were a SAHM, and looooooved to do this sort of thing, I might, just because I wanted to. I don't think it's inappropriate either way.
But what do I know? I have no off-spring of my own.
