It looks like we'll be going to Cedar Key in March for DH's bday. DS will be almost 5 months old. I think we're going to stay in a cottage or house. Any recs? TIA!

Re: Cedar Key?
Honestly there's not much there - it's a quiet, relaxing town. We get clams and seafood at the corner market (their convenience/grocery store) and then takeout chowder from Tony's and enjoy dinner in. Since you're just coming over from Jax, bring the main food staples. We're from Daytona and grocery shop here then get the fresh seafood there and smoked mullet dip and fish (we prefer eating in than out). There's not really a beach, but you can see the sunset from anywhere. There's a park near the docks and shops along the main street.
I think they have sunset boat trips that are on a pontoon boat so calm enough for the little one.
