well it was a good visit. They decided we don't need to do the bloodwork and testing. The Trisomy 13 pregnancy over the summer was not a red-flag type of occurrence. Nothing in the tests that came back from that indicate that we are 'carriers' for that and that it would repeatedly come up again. She also said that my m/c last week is 'unknown' because it happened so early and there was no way to know what went wrong- and that is OK. Apparently if I had had 2 unknown m/c and not had a healthy child before all that then yes they'd do genetic testing. But for right now, since I don't have infertility issues, I should wait and see if I get pregnant and then we can do the CVS, etc like we had planned with this past pregnancy.
So anyway, I'm glad I went, I'm glad I don't have to go through any additional testing and we'll take it from there.
