Top Chef

Did you watch?  Grayson put the smackdown on Colicchio.  It was awesomely hilarious.

Re: Top Chef

  • I opened this forgetting about eastern timezone, but they showed some of that in the previews so I have not ruined it for myself. I still hate Bravo for changing their HD feed to pacific time for me. I enjoyed watching Top Chef at 7.

  • I am really confused by this episode. I don't even know what block party is. Whatever it is, it seemed/sounded like a pretty casual event. I really don't know why meatballs were so elevated in status compared to chicken salad. They made her feel like she was an idiot for picking chicken salad and praised a darn meatball. It was like picnic meets super bowl party, but the judges were snobs about it. Obnoxious.

  • I don't like Grayson much but that was pretty funny. Tom thought so too.

  • Grayson is probably my favorite, second to Paul. That's probably more a comment on how annoying the other contestants, especially the women-ugh, have been than how great Grayson is. I appreciated that she didn't join Sara and Lindsi in their shameful treatment of Beverly.

All of this.  But Paul is my pick to win it.  This season is really disappointing, I think the contestants are kind of awful.

I had also picked Bev to be top 3, and those girls looked like cows for treating her that way.  I told the hubbs I would be embarrased to be on national TV treating someone like that.  My parents would be so ashamed!

  • Yeah, it was really disappointing to see these professional, accomplished women act like catty mean girls.  Maybe there's some extreme editing but there seems to be no reason for it. They seem to get off treating Bev poorly because she's slow in prep and is too nice to tell then to eff off. I hate that kind of ganging up, bullying for no reason.

  • I agree, I was rooting for Bev against those b!tches.
