I swear in the last 3 months I have heard my name become more common than ever. I realize it was a huge 80's name, but damn!
It seems like commercials are constantly using it, or sitcoms. I always look up too at the TV as if they were really talking to me.
Maybe it's like when you buy a car, and no one you know drives one, but as soon as you start driving it, you see them everywhere.
Re: Paranoid
When I was little I wanted an awesome 80s name. I got stuck with a name in the top 10 during the 40s.
Do you know it also means "a fertile plain"?
At least you had this long without hearing too much.
I have the most common name ever. I always had to be "Jennifer P." or we'd decide who was going to be Jen vs. Jennifer vs. Jenny.
There were 5 Jennifer/Jenny's in my group from school when we went to China.
