Morning all! It's a cold day here and there has been snow in the southwest/west of the country this morning... will it reach us at all? I don't know....
Yet another busy day for me (when aren't they recently?)
QOTD: What is the last bizarre thing that happened to you?
Re: Morning!
QOTD: The last bizarre thing that happened to me was only yesterday lunchtime. I was on my way to get a cab to go to my hospital appointment, walking down the street and then there was a gust of wind. Unfortunately, the gust of wind caught an advertising board (for a restaurant) and that blew into me and hit me in the face and wrist! Ow!!!
It was one of those reinforced/corrugated cardboard/plastic sheets that is attached to a sandwich board and it had gotten loose, blown across a wide street and subsequently blown into me! It grazed my cheek and bruised/grazed my wrist. Went over to the them and gave them the riot act - I was in shock as much as I was in pain! They have invited me for dinner as way of remorse...
Morning! I am sooo ready for DH's project at work to be over. I have hardly seen him at all the past 1.5 weeks, and taking care of DD all of the time plus taking over his chores and still doing my own is getting old fast. It doesn't help that I got my period today and am feeling all crampy and gross plus D is teething and really whiny. And now I'm done whining. :-)
QOTD: Yesterday afternoon the phone rang and it was some old lady. She asked me to repeat my name three times, then told me how she used the car in the hallway like everyone else and now she got a bill for 8? and couldn't understand how that was possible. She said it in an accusatory tone like it was my fault. This made no sense to me at all, so I just said, "Excuse me, what???" and then she hung up. Definitely bizarre.
Oh Irish gal, that sounds painful! But yay for free dinner! Hope it?s really, really yummy.
QOTD: I cannot say that anything really bizarre has happened to me recently, and nothing old comes to mind. I?m sure if I just think hard enough one will come to mind in my sleep tonight or later this week...
Yeah, my wrist is sore this morning alright...
If only it had been a sign from the restaurant a few doors down... that would have been a REALLY nice dinner... but then, they wouldn't have such a shoddy sign in the first place...
