I'm back!

California was nice...but it was more of a family trip than an actual vacation.  We got back around 11:30 last night and are back at work today!  :(   I read through some of the posts over the past 10 days...congrats to Mrs. DMC!  Maddox is super cute!  Cocadoll...hope all goes well with your appointment today, looks like you'll be having a baby soon.  I think those were the two major things that happened.  Hope everyone is well.  I read 3 and a half books while I was gone.  I miss reading.  I read the book Twilight, because of all the hype...I LOVED it.  I told my DH that I'm cheating on him with Edward.  LoL  I am going to pick up the next book this weekend.  I hope we can do a nestie GTG to see the movie!

  • Welcome back!  I'm sure you're swamped at work now.  You'll need a vacation to recover from your vacation!  Big Smile

  • Thanks...and welome back!
  • I read Pre...which is the story of Steve Prefontaine.  I also read another book about running (this guy ran an ultramarathon--135 miles through death valley in late July).  Can you tell that I'm preparing for a half marathon?  :)   I started reading Mause, which actually looks like a comic book (not a fan), but it's actually a Jewish survivor's tale from the Holocaust.  It's really interesting.  I loaned Eat, Pray, Love to a friend but haven't read it yet.
