Re: Valentine's Day Poll
We go the Seton Hall basketball game (or, the closest one to Vday if there's not one on) and exchange cards. We don't do big gifts (candy, if anything) and we don't go out to dinner - I hate fighting the crowds that day.
ETA: My HS girlfriends and boyfriends/husbands/fiances get together the Saturday closest to Vday every year. We all get dressed up and do a potluck at someone's house. It is, by far, my favorite part of Vday. It'll be our 10th year doing it this year!

We do celebrate. In the past we've gone out for a fancy dinner, or sometimes we play it low key and just get each other a card and some candy. This year I have no clue other than we'll probably make our FB announcement about Baby A since we will be 13 weeks by then. We have our NT scan the day before on the 13th, and then I have an OB appt on the 15th. I'm thinking with the baby coming and already spending tons of money on moving and the holidays and things, we'll probably just stay in instead of spending a fortune at a fancy restaurant and just do cards and some candy. Maybe I'll make us something more involved for dinner or bake a dessert or something. I've hinted I might like some flowers for vday, just because I haven't gotten any from him in like 1.5 yrs., of course he just picks a bouquet up at the Exchange or grocery store on his way home, they aren't fancy.
ETA to finish my thought and correct spelling.
We celebrate with cards and usually small gifts.
I still need to get J's gift!
V-day is 3 days before my birthday so we usually go out to dinner for both.

My Blog
Yes, definitely! This year we're going to Lawry's Prime Rib restaurant in Beverly Hills (it's where the football teams always eat before the Rose Bowl). Yum!
I keep telling DH not to buy them because they're so gosh darn expensive, but he usually has flowers sent to me at work. He could probably buy me like 10 bouquets at Costco throughout the rest of the year for that price...
I don't think we'll do anything, it's not a huge holiday for us. H did preorder the new cd from our favorite group that comes out on V Day, so that will be enough for me.
I might actually go eat sushi with girls that I work with because one of them is unlucky in love and the other one's husband works 2nd shift. If H has grad classes that evening, I think that would be a lot of fun.
We do, but this year it is the same day as an away swim meet against the number one team in the conference (we are number two -- they are the only ones who have beaten us)...sooo..yeah, maybe the weekend before or after. We usually do cards and small gifts (if anything). Last year Ella was 11 days old, so I made a collage of some pics of DH and her. It was also the first time we left her with anyone (my parents).
This year I'm making sexy and romantic coupons. Cheap and fun!

What are you looking at?
Typically I make a big dinner, mostly surf and turf, and we get each other a little something.
This year we bought a laptop for vday and we will be ordering in.
