Possible threat to the kiddies..

Canada recalled some chocolate coins, but you never know where all that bulk candy is coming from, so I'd keep an eye out for any chocolate coins.

  • It is sad that kids can't even go trick or treating without having to worry about their candy making them sick :(

  • Someone posed the question, "Why can't things be like they were when you we (you ladies) were kids?" I remember being a fairly new mom during that time and there these psycho nut jobs out there putting razor blades and needles into candy on Halloween, sometimes drugs. We parents were even urged to go have the candy xayed before we let our kids eat it. Sad to say, this world hasn't just now gone nuts, it's been this way for 20+ years...

When I was a kid it truly was safe.

I even remember as a kid hearing about razor blades in candies and that they would urge the parents to open everything and check them before they eat it.  So I agree it has been nuts for awhile.  It's just sad that even something that's supposed to be fun isn't even safe. :(

    Siggy coming soon....
