Have you ever been part of a class action lawsuit?

I just got a $40 gift card from Lowes for being part of one.  The lawsuit against Lowes stated that Lowes put customers at risk for identity theft by printing the entire account number on receipts for certain dates.  Sadly getting the gift card just made my day! LOL

I got a check the other day for like $19 from a class action lawsuit involving American Express cardholders.  I didn't even realize I was part of it & didn't even read what the lawsuit was about.

I just got a check for 18.04 from american express - I don't remember ever being part of it, but apparently 4 years ago I was and just got my check this week!

I was part of the one against Bank of America for the overdraft fees.  I got a $98 check in the mail about a month ago.

Yes, for Airborne, I think I got like $12. I'm also part of one for classmates.com, but haven't received any $ for it (yet).

I got $30 from Apple for some suit over the old I-pod Shuffle from many years ago.  I got $120 once from a suit filed against a collection agency which was great since the crooked liar billing people at the old dentist I used to go to billed me $79 for fraudulent x-rays they never did.  I disputed them until I was blue in the face but they sent it to collections and I found out when I went to get a car insurance quote and got denied (yes over $79).  I (stupidly) paid the money to make it go away.  Several years later the suit came about (I honestly do not even remember what it was about)...I was just glad I got my money back (plus interest....LOL).

I got a $50 gc from Sears.  I don't even remember what the lawsuit was about.

I got $200 credit to Malouf dealership in North Brunswick I bought my first car there and appar they overcharged on registration and title fees so anyone who bought a car from the dealer in certain years got $200 from the lawsuit... helped pay for new tires one year haha

I just got a check for like $22 from a class action against AG Edwards - I used to have an IRA there. I don't even know what the suit was about but I never opted out of it. I deposited it this morning and it paid for lunch out with a friend today so I'll take it, lol.

I got a $18 check last week for a class action lawsuit again Ticketmaster.  I have gotten others as well.
