I just saw that!  Now that's sad football news!  I am sure mh is really pissed.  He kept telling me Schiano wouldn't leave.  Eric LeGrande is not happy.

Im not sure how you can compare Schiano to Paterno.

Regardless of how you feel about Paterno, you can't deny that Penn State is mourning - whether they are mourning his death or mourning the fact that a man they admired was so involved in something so heinous, they are mourning.

I lost all respect for Schiano today when I found out on WFAN that he left a week before recruits sign their letter of intent with colleges. Nice way to completely screw over Rutgers on your way out. Like they said on the FAN, it's understandable to leave for an NFL job but the timing is horrible. They basically said Rutgers needs to scramble to find a new coach within 48 hours otherwise top recruits that were likely going to sign are now going to bail if a coach isn't in place because they won't want to deal with the unknown.
