Please recommend your pets vet.
One that takes both cats and dogs. And even better if they are willing to work with us on certain doggie diseases and not give us the guilt trip about broaching the subject of putting our pet down because they are sick and we can't afford thousands of dollars in vet bills, surgeries, etc nor do we have pet insurance and pretty sure with what one of our pets has no one would insure him.
Thanks.

BJ Ravnsborg - Walnut Creek Vet, 96th and 370.
One of the hardest things about leaving Omaha was having to find a new vet (even though we still stay in contact). His wife is a vet at Elkhorn Vet, and she is exactly the same - they both care not only about the animals that they treat, but also their owners.
Edit: I should add - we drove back to Omaha back in October, so he could help us when we had to put Duke down. We couldn't have done it without him.
Ditto. We see Michelle Ravnsborg at Elkhorn Animal Hospital. She works very limited hours now however.
Married the love of my life 6/3/06
Became a family of three 8/25/09
Ditto--we go to the one on 120th and Maple and they are so nice there!
I just recently switch to Best Care on 120 & Fort and really like them so far. They have been really affordable in comparison to my last vet clinic, who I also loved (but the vet I went to left)
Another thing that really sold me on going here was that my friends dad had a lot of health problems recently and they had a lot of medical bills. When one of their dogs was sick and had to be boarded, they couldn't initially figure the diagnosis. Well, they had to make a decision to put the dog down or not if there wasn't an end in sight. Well, the vet waived all boarding fees and continued ot treat the dog and they figured out what was wrong and the dog is now fine! It just was nice to see that they care not only about getting the dog better, but also understood the financial hardship it was causing.
We go to Best Care too. Dr. Michael Bosilevac is awesome with our pets.
