Long shot but has anyone had laser therapy done for acne scars/marks?
Does anyone have experience with getting laser
therapy done for acne scars and marks, most specifically "post
inflammatory hyper pigmentation"? I have battled cystic acne on and off since puberty, been on and off every med
imaginable to try and treat it and am now at a point where my skin is clear but I still have all these scars and marks
all over the place.
My derm set up a consult for me next month with the doctor in the practice that specializes in laser therapy. The consult is free (well minus the copay). I know insurance won't cover it but I at least want to explore the option and find out more re: the cost, etc. to see if it is worth doing. Has anyone done this? Any info you can give would be appreciated (cost?, did it work?, etc. etc.)
