Where to buy a good King Cake in H-town
I need to bring one to a Mardi Gras celebration so I don't want to just do one from Kroger.
Is there anywhere local that does them exceptionally well?

Maureen's bakery in Sugar Land. I love her king cakes-we order at least 4 every season.
My entire family lives in Louisiana, Lafayette to be exact and love Meche's king cakes. They are the best around and they ship. When my parents can't get into town around Mardi Gras they always have them shipped here.
