Oops - must start watching what I say!

There is a parking lot on the side of the school where the parents can park during pickup.  Originally it was setup so the cars outline the lot and then as needed more rings of cars on the inside.  Well its now a free for all and quick frankly a pain to park there, but its too cold to park  elsewhere with Travis.  So, today, there are four lanes of cars when I get there.  I took one look and said "what a clusterf&*k."  And yup you guessed it - this little sing songy voice in the backseat - f&*k f&*k f&(k.  I really had to contain myself to ignore it.  On the inside I was hysterical.  And the next thought was oh no my dad is gonna kill me (Corey dropped the F bomb in front of him when he was 4)
Where in world would you like me to ship you? image My boys - I am so screwed in about 7 years. What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? LIPSTICK !

  • LOL. I said "damn it" in front of my kids and a daycare teacher (we were the only people left in the room) and I got a 15 minute lecture from my four year old about how "damn" is a bad word. He was just loving the ability to use "damn" as many times as he could while lecturing me. The teacher couldn't contain her laughter.

Seriously it was like "Mommy, damn is a bad word. And you should never say damn. And you really shouldn't say damn in front of me because then I will say damn and damn is a bad word. Damn is not a nice thing to say. What would Daddy say if he heard you say damn in front of me? I mean you don't want me to learn the word damn because you said damn do you. You should choose another word besides damn. There are better words then damn" and it went on and on.

that's so full of awesome, lol.

I tend to curse a lot when I drive - RP went through a stage where he'd say, "Mommy, you know ***'s a bad word, right? Don't worry,I won't tell Daddy, and I know never to repeat it." gee thanks kid, lol.

at our house we call that a "Charlie Franklin".   Awesome when she uses that phrase because she's not actually cursing and most people don't know what she's talking about.  I love that she uses it in the right context though - makes me giggle every time!

Love that idea!  My son was repeating "oh shoot" for awhile.  Which isn't really that bad, but it got bad when he said it in front of his preschool teacher and she was like, I wonder where he learned that from...
