NER Poll: Favorite Halloween Candy
I need to go shopping tonight... usually I buy the candy I don't like because we never get many trick-or-treaters, but now that we live in a house in a kid-filled neighborhood, I think we might.
So, tell me... what's your favorite Halloween candy?
Re: NER Poll: Favorite Halloween Candy
I always loved anything chocolate, but peanutbutter cups most especially. I hated getting hard candy.
We should buy stuff we don't like, but we probably won't.
I think buying peanut butter cups would be a super bad idea considering they're my favorite... if we actually don't get any trick or treaters, things could get ugly very quickly.
Though, it wouldn't be like I'm buying mini Milkas or mini Toblerones.
Mmm... Toblerones...
PB cups or fun size Snickers. Snickers is my favorite candy bar of all-time. Mmm, Snickers. Junior Mints are also good. Not enough people give chocolate-mint combos for Halloween.
Candy corn is the most vile substance ever. Do not subject children to that shit.
I used to love getting gum or chips.
But then again, I don't care much for chocolate. And I detest PB cups.
Hershey's Miniatures: Mr. Goodbar, Krackle, Special Dark, and Hershey (in that order).
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...
and Candy Corn.
This reminds me though - my dad (who was a PB Cups glutton) used to go through my and my brother's candy under the ruse of "checking it for safety"...and would pick out his favorites first...
This year we bought Twix, Snickers, and York Peppermint Patties. I love them all, but they're not quite as addictive as Reeses.
Oh chocolate, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
I really don't see a point to candy or dessert w/o chocolate. Chocolate on it's own is great. Chocolate with peanut butter is greater. Chocolate with peanuts is the greatest! Dark chocolate covered peanut clusters are my true weakness, but I do love Mr. Goodbar.
My cousin witnessed her daughter's first chocolate peanut butter experience. She thought it was just chocolate and all of a sudden her eyes lit up and she she said "peanut butter mama!!!". She was very excited.
my read shelf:
Caramel Apple Suckers. They've been on my mind ever since I checked someone out at work three days ago and they were buying them. Yum.
?
Then of course Reese's and then I would have to say Smarties. I always pick out the white ones and save them for last. ; )
?Hate candy corn. Blech.?
