DH went over to our house to meet a person about a fence quote and check on the painting going on over there. He starts sending me photos of what is done and then tells me that he doesn't like the kitchen color - great. Now I'm paranoid it doesn't look good and can't get over there until tonight and of course the color is going to look completely different at night than the day. And in the photo the color to me doesn't appear to be what I picked, but who knows for sure. I was just trying to do the kitchen a different color to break up the beige....the plan may have back fired and it may have to get re-painted...AH!

yeah, that would get to me as well.  especially, since my dh is way better at colors than I am. hoping it's not too bad.

And his response was "well you know I don't have taste so maybe it's okay...all the other colors you picked look good." Thanks honey. But then I sent the text to my mom and she said she didn't like it either. Oh well...at least it can be changed.

Maybe it's not too bad! You should post the pic and let us help you . If it makes you feel any better, we did our walls a sand color with chocolate brown accent walls (yeah, I know, they aren't in style. It looks good, I promise!), and DH told me he hated it the entire time it was being painted, while the carpet was being put in and while we were moving in furniture. He didn't admit it looks good until everything was put together.

I think you're doing great if you like the paint everywhere except one room!  I'm always making painting mistakes and often have to re-paint. The good thing about paint is that you can change it.

Turns out DH told Joel the wrong color...so it will be redone. Hopefully I will like it once it's redone!
