If your child had their tonsils and/or adenoids removed

did they stop getting sick all of the time?  DS had both removed last Tuesday and it seems like he's coming down with a cold.  I don't know if it could be surgery related (maybe fluids are flowing now, when they were blocked before-totally a guess) but I am so upset.  I just want him to stop getting sick all of the time!  Thanks.

  • DD had hers removed in Oct of 2009, she was two. She gets an occational runny nose but had not been on any Rx since the surgery! It could be surgery related. I would call them to be sure. Hope he feels better soon
