ACL Update - No surgery needed (PIP)
I posted about my Maxx last week needing ACL surgery. Well he went to the speicalist/surgeon and she said he doesn't need surgery. She said it was a sprain, and what the first vet saw was actually is growth plates that are still shifting (15 months) and that the tendon wasn't torn.
She said it'll just take time to heal. I think he's over the worst part, DH says he's not limping at all anymore and back to his normal self.
ETA: Sorry it's so big. I'll try to figure out how to make it smaller.
Here's a picture of Maxx:

Re: ACL Update - No surgery needed (PIP)
Oh Yay Maxx!! SO happy for you!!
We find out tomorrow if Cooper needs to have surgery again. Even if he does Im (trying to make myself) optimistic that this will be the end of this whole process for him. Removing the crimp has to be easier then putting it in right?
Thats just awesome for you though! Yippee!
Thanks. I was thinking about you and Cooper. I hope you have a good appointment tomorrow. I hope he doesn't have to have surgery, but if it'll give him relief..... Let us know how the appt goes.
Thanks! I most certainly will!!!
