what margarine do you use?

we had been using brummel and brown (yogurt based) for a few years, and suddenly I don't like the taste. dh didn't think it changed.

so i bought earth-something which has dha and omg - i could gag. it reeks of fish. none of us like it.

what margarine do you use? i was aiming to be healthier about it, but maybe margarine just isn't healthy....

dh doesn't like smart balance.

Earth Balance, it's not margarine though. I don't think that's the one you tried... or maybe they have one that has fish oil added- because we've tried the original and the olive oil blends and neither of them tasted like fish... and that's a taste i would definitely notice, as i HATE fish and anything that lived in water. I'd puke. lol

I buy the fat free I Can't Believe it's Not  Butter.  The low fat one is much better tasting but the fat free one is only 5 calories per serving.

we put it on bread or eggo waffles

i tend to use butter in baking and cooking, but want something spreadable for other things.

Then why not just buy whipped butter it is softer right from the fridge....unless you're thinking margarine is healthier.

well..i don't know if this helps..but I use regular butter for baking and spreadable butter ( land o lakes  i think) for everything else.
