Hello! New to board...
I'm fairly new to the area - we've been here for just over a year now. I'm a native NY'er from upstate, but currently living in northern Westchester County. I'm a esthetician and freelance makeup artist. Hubby is active Army and currently stationed with a NYC area college - ROTC program until hopefully he retires in 2013 after 20 years of service. We moved here from Ft. Carson, CO in October 2010 shortly after my husband returned from his second Afghanistan deployment. We're expecting our first child together in a week! 
We both have children from previous marriages - my daughter (11) and his daughter (13). We're also having another girl. 
I'd love to meet other area moms. Since we're on a remote location assignment, I don't have the Army spouse support I'd find on a post. 
I look forward to getting to know everyone! Is there a branch off of this forum on FB? If so, please share the link. Thank you!

We live in Orange county. We have a 17 month old girl and a little man on the way 2/6. A c/s as well. I will be at Vassar though.

I'm in Orange, but work down in the Bx- I'm at a University there and have a student in ROTC- I wonder if it's the same program. A friend, who's like a second Mom to me, is the secretary at ROTC there
