Lower westchester day care?
Anyone have any recs? We live in Mamaroneck and I work in Harrison/Rye so something pretty close would be best.
Thanks.
Re: Lower westchester day care?
we looked at this place. it was nice and my first choice. but it has a major waiting list. like a year. what i can say is that i had my daughter in Children's Corner in White Plains and it was horrible. i took her out after 3 days. stay away!
I think Holler is volunteering to watch your baby for you.
I SOOOO wish staying home was an option for me. We are all under my health care though and I am the main income right now. DH is looking to get into corrections so if that goes to plan who knows what his schedule will be and maybe we won't even need daycare.
I might have to take Holler up on her offer
There is one I heard of in my town so I might check it out but I don't even need them all day. It would only be till 4pm. I get out at 3:30 so it's pretty early. I wish I knew how to look into a personal person but idk if I like the fact of having someone in our apt or however it would be.

we have mj at ann and andy in elmsford and Love it. He's been there since August. He loves his workers and you can see the kids coming back to previous workers to give hugs on their way to class. They have a few acres of land and in the summer they have an amazing camp there. They offer a few different payment options, weekly, bi weekly, monthly. www.annandandychildcare.com I have a great relationship with the workers and have received great advice from them when it comes to issues with bottles, Mj's constant ear infections, croup, needing a nebulizer etc. Already he knows how to color with a crayon, understands large words, and this summer they will be teaching him to sleep on a cot, use toddler forks etc. My younger brother went there, our friends had/have kids there and nobody has a bad word to say about it.
we used all aboard inc and found them pricey.$2k a month and they wanted it paid in full up front.
