I have always been a prime member - even before it was free for Amazon Mom, etc (which I got for a year, that was nice!)
It's been so long since I have added anything to my kindle (i loaded it up with a lot this summer... and never have time to read).
I just went to get The Hunger Games for my trip to Vegas coming up... and realized you can borrow one book at a time for free with Prime! This is AWESOME for me.
I never expected to borrow- b/c i always thoguht it would have time limits- and it takes me forever to finish a book... but this says no limit on time- just one book at a time.
OK- i'm excited- can you tell???
And all you HG freaks- I'm sure I'll be joining you soon in the HG love... i'm excited to start the trilogy!
Re: How did I not know about Prime Kindle free borrowing??
it seems to say that you have to be a kindle owner + a prime member.
You have to order the books to borrow from your kindle- you can't do it off a computer.... so I don't think the app would work.
There IS an app to read kindle book on iPad, smart phones, etc... but to borrow for free you need to own a kindle.
booo! I have prime - but no kindle. Oh well.
I tell you, I was debating whether to pay for amazon prime but it is so worth it, I order so much from amazon and i got so used to getting it the 2nd day (also had it free for 1 yr through amazon mom) and my last order took 8 days. it felt like forever, so yep last week I paid for PRIME. SUCKS that i do not have a kindle though
it sounds like 1 book at a time... it says "no due dates"... so once you are done with it- you "return" it and can borrow another one.
