Can anyone help this poor girl?
This was posted on my local humane society's facebook page:
From Animal Crackers Pet Rescue, Laguna Beach. Please cross-post! Thank you!
Good Afternoon,
I know that your organization and rescue must be overcrowded with wonderful pets waiting for their forever homes and I applaud you from the bottom of my heart for all of your amazing work. However, I am desperately pleading for your help and assistance.
I was on a job location yesterday when a starving dog ran up to me. To make matters worse, it looks like she just had a litter of puppies. I walked around to see if she belonged to anyone when a nearby neighbor approached me and told me that this dog was dumped by some young men in the alley and she has been wandering around for a week. I showed her a sign of affection and from that point she started following me as if pleading for help. I tried to reach out to everyone I could and had no other choice but to bring her in to the West Valley Shelter. I have two dogs that are both rescues and one of them is elderly and has medical needs therefore requires my extra time and care.
I now have 4 Days to help save this wonderful dog before she gets euthanized. After everything she had been through she is the happiest go lucky girl and didn?t even have food aggression when I fed her and followed me no matter where I went. This dog is amazing and deserves a second chance and I know there is a family out there that would love to adopt her.
I thank you for your time and your help will be tremendously appreciated.
God Bless,
Elaina Grigoryan

My Lunch Blog
I know
I'm in PA. If I was in CA I'd totally foster her (who am I kidding...I'd probably be keeping her).
I'd suggest to her that she start some kind of chipin account and ask for financial donations, then look for rescues that will take her with the $. A lot of shelters find rescues to pull pits in TX, etc this way. I saw one yesterday who has $550 backing for approved rescue.
Isn't Bad Rap in CA? Maybe they can help.
