Any tips on how to spruce up deck for home selling?

We are going to be listing our TH in a couple weeks and I was wondering is there is anything I can do outside to spruce up the deck a little bit. If it was spring, I would put flowers. It looks so dreary out there right now.

I don't know if it's a good time of year to do this but how about staining it to make it fresh looking?  Or can you put out your patio furniture, make sure it's set up and cleaned off.

I'd rent a power washer and give it a nice cleaning off, of course this all depends on the temps outside but it hasn't been too too cold lately. Nothing like a nice clean deck!

The association owns painting it. And it has to be 50 degrees outside to paint, I believe.

I have the patio furniture out, but it is brown wood and the deck is brown so it just all looks blah. We have an umbrella but we don't keep it out all of the time.

hummm... maybe get something bright to give a little bit of color... a big bright planter... you could put a small evergreen in it... or just add some bright flower pots together as decoration on their own.

I was thinking that... I wonder if they have them out yet. A tiny evergreen would be cute.
