Sprint Service

Anyone here has sprint?  I have t-mobile but really would like to change.  Any feedback regarding sprint service would help.

TIA

Re: Sprint Service

  • We have Sprint and haven't had any problems at all coverage or customer service wise.

  • I use Virgin Mobile, but they use the Sprint network (with awesome prices). The coverage is good for the places I go. I know in my office, AT&T phones barely work, but Sprint ones do fine. However, in a hotel conference room I was in last week, AT&T phones worked great and Sprint had zero coverage. It just depends. Asking your neighbors and coworkers would probably be the best bet.

  • We just switched from AT&T to Sprint and haven't had any complaints.

  • We have been with sprint forever, and love it.
  • I've had Sprint since 2000 and have been very happy overall. Great prices, great phones, and pretty good customer service. I would say that the coverage depends on where you live. Maybe talk to your neighbors, or have a friend with a sprint phone come over to your house so you can see what the coverage is like. When I worked in the med center, there were many times that I would have service (even in a basement) and my coworkers with att and verizon did not. However, the service at my HOUSE hasn't been the best. It is fine in my yard, just not in my house. So, I don't know if it is where the towers are, or how my house is built or what, but it can be annoying. A tower went down the first week in Jan, so service for a few weeks was terrible, however when I called they were very nice, explained the situation and offered a discount on my bill. They also waited to close the ticket out until they got a hold of me a few days after it was fixed to make sure that I was happy. HTH!
  • We've had Sprint for the longest time and have been happy with them. DH has found the online customer service (basically writing an email) to be better than trying to talk to a person on the phone.

We have tech shield in our attic so the service in our house was horrible! Outside fine - step in the door, call lost. We bought the Sprint AIRAVE which is basically a mini cell tower for inside the house. It works awesome!! The only down side to it is if you start a call outside, it doesn't automatically switch once you're inside.

My Mom has had Virgin Mobile and she's been very happy too. It's exactly what she needs and since it uses Sprint towers, she's had no coverage problems. She can also use our mini tower in our house too.

We've looked at switching to another copy, but no one else really comes close to the $ (even though I think we pay a lot) and what you get with Sprint. DH is a computer geek and loves his data.

  • i've had it for years for my personal phone; in houston and KS, never had an issue....but when we moved to AL, my coverage s.u.c.k.s. - and it's also the carrier my business mobile is on so i can't escape sprint's crappy coverage.

i also had verizon when in KS for my business mobile - got great coverage with them everywhere i traveled
