We've been using Tide for a long time because it was the only detergent that would get rid of the spit-up smell on my son's clothes. Now that he's almost 14 months old that isn't as big of a problem. Tide seems to be the most expensive out there but I'm nervous to try something else. Anyone?
Re: Which Detergent?
I switch between Tide and Gain.
I used Gain because of the different smells but I bought Tide Total Care last. I love it. I cleans DH nasty smelly oil field work clothes. It's gentle enough of for my towels. Also the Tide stain boost is great as well.

I'm not brand fussy at all..but it's always Tide around here.
It's expensive but justified. My clothes come clean on the first wash (I live on a farm, this is important), my baby clothes always come out great, my clothes quit fading, getting holes etc. so fast. I also know it's always going to be one first line scoop..unlike the eco-stuff I previously tried..it was always a guessing game.
The kind I buy also has a scent H can deal with and no one is allergic. The fillers in some other detergents really bother me.
It also works great on my diapers. I'm not about to buy two detergents.
