I am starting to look into what to make for superbowl. There are usually 4~8 of us at our house. What are your football go to's? What are all you MFP ladies making this year?

Re: Superbowl
I was just going to post this recipe....
http://beautyandbedlam.com/beer-dip-recipe/
I made it yesterday for Phill's baseball meeting it was soooo good!
I also make the cocktail meatballs, they always are a hit. (Meat balls, grape jelly, bbq sauce all in a crock pot)
I'm thinking spinach artichoke dip also.
I usually make a buffalo chicken dip, but I don't have to make it this year. We are going to our friend's house so I am in charge of desserts. I am making cupcakes, peanut butter candy cakes and maybe some cookies.

H isn't a football fan (thankfully baseball season is right around the corner!), so we most likely won't do anything for the Superbowl. However, my office is having a superbowl party for lunch one day next week and everyone signs up to bring something...the main "dish" will be make-your-own sub-sandwiches.
I need ideas for a good (easily transportable) dessert. I'm thinking about a strawberry pretzel salad, but I don't know if that is very "superbowl"ish lol
I usually make a hamburger dip and we have pizza.
Hamburger dip:
1 lb browned and drained hamburger
1 can refried beans (I used refried black beans)
1 container of fresh salsa (I use Reser's salsa, but it is made locally, so I don't know if everyone has access to it)
1 brick of 1/3 less fat cream cheese
After you brown the hamburger, add everything else, stir until beans and cream cheese have melted.
I have a small crock pot that I serve it in on 'keep warm' to make sure that it stays warm for the duration of the game. It is a BIG fan favorite.
We'll end up hand in hand

I'm always a fan of traditional chips and dip. I can eat that all day. My MIL usually makes bbq beef sandwiches for the Superbowl. Last year Raymond made some hot spinach dip in the crockpot with smoked mozzerella cheese. That was really good.
Today I'm having an early Superbowl appetizer since Raymond has the smoker going. Smoked bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese. YUMMY!!!! All for me too cuz Raymond's stomach doesn't like them.

I'm making a taco dip, guacamole, spinach dip and a fruit dip. (Epicure has taken over!!)
A tip I learned about guacamole, leave the pits in it. It stays green bright green for way longer.
We will be at my sisters this year to celebrate Superbowl and my birthday. It's nice because there are always people together for my b'day.
